After that, a little vinegar, sugar, and salt are added to the rice. This gives the rice a special taste. Then, a seaweed sheet called nori is put on a bamboo mat. The rice is spread on the nori in a thin layer.Next, vegetables or fish are placed in the middle of the rice. The sushi is rolled slowly and carefully with the bamboo mat.
